Although we have had very warm weather, my oleanders are not quite this pretty yet. They were last spring when this photo was taken.

This is how they look now. Some of the long seed pods (lower left of picture) have burst open creating these big fuzzy clusters of seeds. They are a little creepy because they look like bag worms. When the wind blows they will fly away and several will take root. In the spring I will find a few sprouts. I don't usually save them because I have three very large bushes of this pale pink.
I have also started plants of other colors from cuttings. If you strip off about four leaves of a cutting from new growth and dip the "wounds" in some root stimulating hormone powder, they take root fairly easily. Just do not let them get too wet or too dry. I have had some success rooting roses this way too.
