Colors are so much brighter on a rainy day when everything is wet.  
Brown things seem almost brilliant.
The pattern on the top and sides of this little acorn caught my attention,

  3. I love that first picture, with every little detail clear as a bell. I wish I could do a proper closeup without getting something blurred beyond recognition. Some day, I think a class on how to take a good picture might be in order!! ;o)
