TIME HOP 15/365 - GODDESS OF THE GARDEN - 1/15/'20

Photo taken 10/2012
Buffalo, New York - Botanical Gardens

A gorgeous display of succulents growing on and around
a terra cotta face.  She greets visitors near the entrance like a true goddess.  So that is what I named her.

A close up of some of the beautiful plants detailing
the soft fuzz on the leaves.  I think these are a variety of "Sempervivum", or what my mother would have called "hen and chickens".
Just a few of the beautiful plants in the gardens, if only my thumb was so green.

Thanks for viewing.

  1. So cool how the little bit of rust in the plants is the same shade as the terra cotta. And she looks like she has a Hens and Chicks (that's what my mother called them, too) flower in her hair! :D

Do you mind if I "pin" this photo? With credit and a link, of course!
